In 2023, we proudly gifted over 700 winter coats and accessories to local elementary and middle school students. We are aiming even higher for 2024, with a goal of surpassing 1,000!
Throughout the months of October and November, we'll be collecting NEW winter coats and accessories at our branches and at the Foundation, located at 220 Spring Street, Suite 120,
Herndon, VA.
Sponsor a child: You can sponsor coats for one, two, or more kids! Your tax-deductible donation of $25.00 will envelop one child with winter warmth.
We will gratefully accept:
- coats in youth sizes to adult medium
- winter hats
- winter gloves and mittens
In response to our 2023 drive, Jamie Gadley, Principal at Dranesville Elementary School, expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, "As I hear the winter wind blowing outside, there is peace in knowing that students are prepared for the winter weather."

We are also seeking partners for this program.
