Step Into Success: Help Every Child Walk with Confidence
For many students, the first day of school is a moment of pure excitement. But for too many children in our community, it begins with anxiety. Without proper footwear, these students are forced to sit on the sidelines during gym class, feeling left out and held back before the year even begins.
We are changing that. Through our "Step Into Success" drive, we provide brand-new athletic shoes and socks to students in need, ensuring they start the school year with the dignity, comfort, and joy they deserve.

Our most impactful contribution from NWFCU Foundation was the new sneaker and sock donations. Our biggest fundraiser every year is our Runathon. This year, we were able to match every student in need with a brand new pair of running shoes. This built up the confidence of our students – many of whom have never owned a new pair of shoes – and made a fun day even more special.
