Our Students Are The Mission

We're proud to work alongside a growing network of local schools throughout our community, offering steady, year-round support that helps students do well both in the classroom and beyond it. Through these partnerships, every school receives quarterly outreach tied to the Foundation's core programs. That support covers weekend meals, everyday hygiene items, new athletic shoes and socks, and winter coats along with other cold-weather essentials.

Our goal is simple:

Clear away the obstacles so students can put their energy into learning, building confidence, and pursuing opportunity. So often, what stands between a student and their potential isn’t academic at all. It’s practical. A child who comes to school hungry struggles to concentrate. A student without a warm coat might not make it in at all. A teen who wears worn-out shoes to gym class feels it for the rest of the day. When we meet these needs head-on and stay consistent, we help schools become places where every student can show up, stay engaged, and be ready to grow.

The Partnership

Being a Partner School means much more than joining a one-time drive. It's a relationship that lasts. Each school stays connected with the Foundation all year long, so support stays responsive, well-timed, and shaped around what their students actually need. From handling immediate needs to bringing in NWFCU volunteers, we work closely with school staff to make a real difference.
