It’s official, the NWFCU Foundation’s #weekofgiving is back! Running November 26 - 30, 2018, the NWFCU Foundation will be #givingback in support of its mission to help young people in its community.

On behalf of the NWFCU Foundation team we are proud to announce the following week’s events, where we will be #givingback in various ways throughout the community.

  • 11/26 – The NWFCU Foundation’s Scholarship Program launches on Cyber Monday. Plus, all fourth grade students and participants in the NWFCU Foundation's mentorship program will receive a few surprises and a unique donation will be made to Dranesville Elementary School!
  • 11/27 – #GivingTuesday – Everyone is encouraged to donate their time, talent, or treasure to their favorite non-profit! Today we officially re-ignite our partnership with Herndon High School (HHS) and will add a few items to Paige’s Closet at HHS!
  • 11/28 – NWFCU Foundation set to announce its education expansion and support in Loudoun County! The organization will also hold its final Wacky Wednesday for 2018, which will be filled with holiday cheer, music, food, merriment, and a very special donation to the Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center!
  • 11/29 – Employees of NW will join the NWFCU Foundation in a fun-filled day of volunteering to support Embry Rucker Shelter.
  • 11/30 – As NWFCU Foundation prepares to launch next month’s Kids in Crisis Drive, and in partnership with Mission BBQ, local First Responders in Herndon and Reston will each receive a free sandwich and drink, which will be graciously provided by Mission BBQ, Chantilly.
